This satin piece is luxuriously smooth and glossy, requiring gentle care to maintain its sheen, texture, and drape.

Care Instructions :

  • Hand wash gently or machine wash in a mesh bag (gentle cycle)
  • Use cold water & mild detergent only
  • Do not wring or twist
  • Air dry away from direct sunlight
  • Low heat ironing or steam only, on reverse side if necessary

Satin

To care for satin: Satin is delicate and prone to snagging. Hand wash or gentle machine wash with mild detergent in cold water. Avoid twisting or wringing. Air dry flat or hang, iron on low heat with pressing cloth.

 

Washing & Drying

  • Hand Wash (Best): Cold water with mild detergent, gently swirl. Do not wring or scrub. Rinse thoroughly.
  • Machine Wash (Caution): Use mesh bag, delicate cycle, cold water. Wash with similar fabrics.
  • Avoid: Hot water, bleach, harsh detergents, wringing/twisting.
  • Drying: Lay flat or hang on padded hanger; avoid direct sunlight and heat.

 

Ironing & Storing

  • Ironing: Low heat; always use pressing cloth. Steam is optional.
  • Storage: Hang on padded hangers or fold carefully. Keep away from rough surfaces to prevent snagging.

 

Special Considerations

  • Stains: Spot clean with mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaning.
  • Professional Cleaning: Recommended for embellished or silk-satin blends.
