  • Dry in the shade to prevent fading

Cotton

To care for cotton: Cotton is durable but can shrink if handled roughly. Wash in cool or lukewarm water with mild detergent. Avoid hot water, bleach, harsh chemicals, and wringing. Air dry flat or hang; iron on medium heat.

 

Washing & Drying

  • Hand Wash (Best): Use cool or lukewarm water and mild detergent. Gently swirl; do not scrub or wring. Rinse until soap-free.
  • Machine Wash (Gentle Option): Use a mesh bag, gentle/delicate cycle, cold or lukewarm water, mild detergent. Wash with similar fabrics.
  • Avoid: Hot water, bleach, fabric softeners, and wringing/twisting.
  • Drying: Lay flat or hang to air dry. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading and shrinking.

 

Ironing & Storing

  • Ironing: Medium heat; steam if possible. Iron slightly damp cotton for best results.
  • Storage: Fold neatly or hang; avoid overcrowding to prevent creases.

 

Special Considerations

  • Stains: Treat promptly with mild stain removers.
  • Professional Cleaning: Optional for heavily soiled or delicate cotton items.
